The SHOTPROS project aims to improve performance of European police by developing innovative, Virtual Reality -enhanced training. To do so, the project examines the influence of psychological and contextual human factors on the decision making and acting (DMA) of police officers in high risk or stressful situations. Based on the human factors and DMA of police officers, SHOTPROS is creating a VR (virtual reality) based training curriculum to improve DMA performance of police officers in stressful situations.  

The consortium of SHOTPROS is building this network to share results and insights generated by the project. In particular, the advantages of the virtual training and the developed innovation components and many more topics are shared. The network will be self-sustainable after the end of SHOTPROS and broaden its scope based on the topics and areas that are interesting for the members.
